FAQs
FIELD Coalition (or simply FIELD) is a platform for the global Jewish creative community. We exist to connect, amplify, and create opportunities for Jewish artists and allies - writers, designers, filmmakers, musicians, photographers, performers - who want to work with us and amplify our work.
Jewish and Allied creatives deserve spaces where they can be seen, supported, and celebrated. FIELD was built to strengthen our creative community through visibility, connection, collaboration, and opportunity—while helping ensure Jewish creativity continues to flourish for generations to come.
Our founding team spans Canada, the US and Australia, but our community is global. Creativity has no borders, and neither do we.
Right now, we are accepting:Editorial writing (essays, stories, poetry, opinion pieces, and more)Artist Spotlight submissionsCreative opportunities (jobs, grants, residencies, calls for artists, collaborations)Community events
As FIELD grows, so will the ways you can participate.
Yes. FIELD will always be free for artists and creatives to submit their work, browse opportunities, and participate in the community and eventually (coming soon!), join us as a member. To help keep the platform sustainable, FIELD will gradually introduce optional revenue streams, such as sponsored listings, advertising, and other initiatives that support our mission. These are designed to fund and grow the platform while keeping it free and accessible for the creatives we exist to serve.
No. Every submission is thoughtfully reviewed and curated by our team to ensure it aligns with FIELD's mission, editorial vision, and quality standards. While we can't publish everything, we're grateful for every submission we receive.
Artist Spotlights are curated by our team and rotate regularly to showcase a diverse range of Jewish and Allied creatives across disciplines, mediums, backgrounds, and career stages.
Absolutely. FIELD isn't a one-time opportunity. We encourage you to keep creating, keep submitting, and stay engaged with the community.
Not at all. FIELD celebrates creativity in all its forms. Whether you're exhibiting internationally or making work at your kitchen table after hours, you're welcome here.
No. FIELD is intentionally interdisciplinary. We celebrate writers, filmmakers, designers, musicians, photographers, illustrators, dancers, actors, architects, makers, performers, culinary creatives. Creatives of every kind.
We're just getting started. Dedicated sections for books, music and film, reviews, recurring features, articles, resources, and more.In the coming months, we'll be launching a dedicated community space where creatives can connect, collaborate, share their work, ask questions, discover opportunities, and build meaningful relationships with one another.
The best way to support FIELD is to participate. Submit your work, share opportunities, tell a friend, and help us grow this community. Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen the creative ecosystem we're building together.
We'd love to hear from you. Reach out anytime at hi@fieldcoalition.com, and a real human (not an overly enthusiastic chatbot) will get back to you.
