FIELD is built by and for the creative community.
Whether you're submitting editorial content, an artist profile, an event, or an opportunity, you're helping connect creatives with ideas, people, and possibilities they might not have discovered otherwise.
Before you submit, please take a moment to review our Submission Guidelines. Choose the submission that best fits what you're sharing, and we'll take it from there.
Some submissions may be featured immediately, some later, and some may not be the right fit — but we genuinely want to see what you’re doing. We welcome submissions from Jewish creatives and allies alike.
Submit Editorial
FIELD publishes essays, interviews, commentary, reviews, humour pieces, and other editorial work that explores creativity, culture, identity, process, and the realities of making work today.
While our editorial focus is broad, submissions should connect in some meaningful way to the creative world. Topics unrelated to creative practice, culture, community, or the arts are generally outside our scope.

We're building a growing collection of creative voices and featuring selected members through artist profiles and spotlight features.

FIELD shares jobs, freelance projects, grants, residencies, exhibitions, open calls, collaborations, competitions, and other opportunities relevant to Jewish and allied creatives.
Whether you're an organization, brand, studio, gallery, publication, festival, community group, or individual creative, we'd love to hear about opportunities that may benefit the FIELD community.

FIELD shares workshops, talks, exhibitions, performances, screenings, launches, community gatherings, panels, and other cultural or creative programming relevant to Jewish creatives, allies, and the broader FIELD community.

Simchahs and Shivahs:
Jewish Joy, Jewish Sorrow
In Judaism, joy and sorrow are deeply connected, not opposites. We reject toxic positivity, requiring people to fully feel their grief and joy. Ultimately, rituals, like breaking a glass at a wedding, show that the human soul has the capacity to hold both weeping and dancing in the body and spirit. We want to hear your take on Simchas and Shivahs.
Give us 1200 words about what gives you joy or sorrow (or both) as a Jew. Previously published work is ok, but please indicate when, where, and authorization to publish.
